Growth & Innovation Specialist

Ken is an accomplished innovation strategist and trainer with close to a decade of experience driving digital transformation and innovation enablement across startups, corporates, and accelerator ecosystems. His work bridges the gap between entrepreneurial agility and enterprise-scale innovation, empowering organizations to thrive in the evolving Industry 4.0 and 5G landscape.

His approach to innovation is grounded in Lean and Agile principles, inspired by the frameworks of The Lean Startup and The Startup Way by Eric Ries. These principles underpin his facilitation style—emphasizing rapid iteration, data-driven experimentation, and customer-centric validation to accelerate growth and performance outcomes.

Ken began his journey with the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC, now MRANTI) as Acceleration Director and Mentor-in-Residence for its award-winning Global Accelerator Program (GAP). Since then, he has contributed to numerous national and regional accelerator initiatives, including 500 Global, PitchIN, TEGAS, SDEC, DARe, Selangor Accelerator Program, Digital Penang, Founder Institute, and Endeavor. He has also led Corporate Innovation and Venture Programs with organizations such as Maybank, Fonterra, Uber, and DiGi.

As a startup founder, Ken co-founded Adventoro Travel (2017–2021), an experiential travel platform that earned international recognition as a Top 3 Finalist at the World Tourism Forum Lucerne (Switzerland, 2019) and winner of the Mekong Innovative Startup for Tourism Award (Vietnam, 2018). He was also among the Top 50 entrepreneurs selected for the Alibaba Netpreneur School, participating in an exclusive immersion program at Alibaba Headquarters in Hangzhou, China.

Ken’s corporate experience spans leadership roles in growth, marketing, and consulting, including serving as Head of Growth for PitchIN, and holding senior commercial positions at MYSALE Group and ZALORA Malaysia, as well as a consulting role with Accenture.

Ken is an HRDC-accredited trainer and a sought-after facilitator for innovation, startup acceleration, and corporate venture building programs across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
